Sealed With A Kiss...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIkUiD8N81k

Way back, Paresh taught me this one. Those were days when we used to hang around in Govind Nagar and look for our faviorite music cassettes in those audio shops. I generally used to pay them to dub the song collection I wanted in a blank cassette. As usual, most of them were from Kishore Kumar, and few from recent 'then' hits. Jo Jeeta Wahin Sikander, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, Dil Hain Ki Maanta Nahi, Hum hain Rahi Pyaar Ke etc...topped my preferences. Rajneesh, Paresh etc. may remember that.

I still miss that Samosa place from Govind Nagar. His yogurt mixed green chatnee was awesome with samosas (how much do we pay for one, now?...it was 50 paisas then, right?), Us in 'Shiv Mohan Singh' classes, playing cricket on front road there, those thelas in front of school during interval. It all seems like just a recent past...jaise bas kal hi baat ho.

Kabhi kabhi sochtaa hu, ki kaisaa hotaa...agar hum phir vaapas, us duniyaa mein ek saath lauT sakte...

I wonder how interesting would it be to share that time with each other...if we all individually sketch out that potrait. i am sure you all have your own version to it :-)

Love ya'll...

Shashank

Senti Shashank has evoked some deep-buried emotions. So, let me also write a few lines, bore you all with them and hope more will come out of others and we'll all end up crying sentimentally at the end. :-) (I am sure Shashank was crying in the first mail itself!!)

My favorite memory from Subhash is the gang I used to hang out there daily with - Anoop Bhavnani, Guriyani, Kaushal, Nirmal, Rishi and another guy (his name escapes me right now. he had become a successful MR last time I met him a few years back. he used to belong to Barra area somwhere near where Bail used to teach maths and issue his kicking threats to his students at 5'o clock in the morning. Nirmal may remember his name, I feel).

That gang was an absolute laughter bank! Any break in school-time was a get together and a huge laughter show. Any sense of humor that I ever had - I absolutely attribute to those days.

I wouldn't think twice about going back to those days too - ever - if it was possible - whatever be the "riches" that go out from the now-life!

Cheers,
Roshan
