I suppose you all already know this.I am happy to know that Taare Zammen Par is India's official entry to the Oscar. Not that it really matters, still it is heartening that finally we have picked up an Indian Osacar entry that makes some sense. For the fact, any issue...I believe it is important that we represent ourselves well to world audience. TZP is definitely deserving.
I have a hunch that it may make it to the top 5, if not win it.

I have a thing to share about our gud ol days at Subhash Smarak, on one certain 26th of January , lot of us did not go to school, so the great Ladoos remained as it in the canister they were supposed to be distributed. So on the very next day when the class had a better strength , we were called to the ground and were asked to sit in the line of three as always.
With those canisters being brought from inside ,the great teacher who was incharge of the distribution was too lazy (his usual self) to do it by himself and asked us to go and get one packate each, now in the line that we were in , I was on the right corner and Chaddha ji was on the left side and to his left was Javed , meanwhile the great teacher had to go to rest room or something and before leaving told us that he would be back and we could keep taking one each packate.
Now the age we were in that time was something that would not let us do things straight. So we (me and javed) grabbed like 4-5 packate each and Chaddha Ji took only one.
After that we came back to our place and were very happy that we have 4-5 packates (me and Javed) now as soon as we sat back we saw the Great teacher returning and threatning others dont take more than one , now by this time he had come in seeing distance , fearing that I will be caught , I held one and threw rest in the chaddha ji's lap , seeing me doing that Javed also threw his in chaddha ji's lap , Now Chaddha Ji had opened the packat and was enjoying the Ladoo holding remaining three ladoos in his other hand , now in addition to that he had 6-7 other packates in his lap and he could not throw back those to us as he had open ladoos in both the hands.
Now The teacher was standing in front of Chaddha Ji and had gone mad seeing 7 packates with him and he is eating one those 3 open in other hand and 7 packates in lap.
And we and Javed were almost dying holding our laugh, but chaddha returned those and saved his life.
Now I some time remember that incident and laugh at the expressions on Chaddha Ji and Javed's face.
Those were gud ol days.I never knew I would share that day's incident after such a long time...
but ....

I guess he's got saved because of his good standings...wernaa bahut toDaa jaata. I can't believe you two did this to him. YOU...I could believe, tu to shakl se hi maha.shaitaan lagtaa tha...jitnaa choTaa, utnaa hi khoTaa :-) But for Javed, I am surprised.
The bigger surprise is, that neither of you have shared this with me before...I am surprised.
For those, who may not know this...Javed has been with me since the beginning, as we both (along with Rajneesh) did our early schooling from Mother India Convent.
Does anybody know, what he is up to now days...it would be a favor, as I haven't been in touch from...really long.
